On April 9–11, the 1st Congress of the Turkic States Nephrology Federation and the 2nd National Congress of the Internal Medicine Society were held at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

The main purpose of the congress was to discuss treatment methods in nephrology and internal medicine in line with international standards, promote the application of innovative technologies, and contribute to the development of these fields in Azerbaijan.
